The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency stated it really is alarmed regarding the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and sassa status there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The assistance issue designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to enable the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
